Lutju went on for the next night trying to put distance between him and the vong party. He was trying to locate this other jedi, but was having a hard time with the dark side being so strong here. As it neared dawn Lutju stopped and decided to make camp, rest and eat provisions. Lutju looked around his camp site, and decided it would be safer if he were not on the ground, however deep in the fungal jungle of felucia. He used the force to propell him upwards and into the croch of two trees.

There he meditated, and eventually entered the currents of the force, searching for some light in all of the darkness that surrounded every leaf, plant, and tree.

Lutju sat in that tree for hours calling on the force to refrsh him, and guide him. As Lujtu sat in that tree he was stirred by yelling an d harsh voices, and shrieking that made his blood curl, it was another vong party, and they had awakend to sleeping ackaly, which were right below that particular tree.....

As night fell Ven Headed to what looked like water, he glanced down into it only to see his reflection and that scare over his right eye, he had lost that eye only mere hours ago and the pain was excruciating even now but by using a Technique he learned on his own after reading old books on force powers and techniques. He put his hand out as it started to glow a light blue color and place it over his lost and scared eye, the burn he sustained by his own light saber to coagulate the would so it wouldn't bleed any more started healing as best he could make it it was going to leave a scare for the rest of his life but his organic eye was gone forever he was thinking when he get's back to the praxium about getting a cybernetic eye or not. But in his concentrated thought something was coming up behind him, he looked back and saw a vong standing there but not attacking this was extremely odd then as though it's stomach hurt it's arms loosely wrapped around it's waist and was changing into a metal object. Ven then relaxed at the sight of Hoth, after a few minutes Hoth started to make a fire after which Ven started to rebuild his Com link, after several hours he fixed it and made a safe house in an abandoned cave near where he was he didn't feel anything out of the normal in the cave so he had Hoth scan for unnatural life form's as in Vong, when the cost was clear he went inside and force gripped a large boulder in the entrance so it looked like a cave in.

"I do say master the new look does suit you maybe you should think about getting the other eye done or maybe loose a limp? that would suit you just fine." Hoth spoke in a pleasant sort of tone but also very sarcastic and joking at the same time.

"I'll take out your circuits if you make another comment." Ven spoke in twi'lekki, his tone was more serious than it was joking. after a few minutes he slept.

Reika left the council room and walked towards her ship. She sighed and looked up at her Xwing that she had gotten for her 16th birthday from Han, "All right I'll just wait for Aunt Mara and Uncle Luke to get here." She sighed leaning against her ship that she called, 'Phoenix Blast' She sighed and closed her eyes. THinking of something that would help her forget her horrid past. She still had nightmares from the day her parents were killed she sighed feeling a cool breeze blow past her. The metal on her jet felt cool to the touch.

The hanger was calm and cool with sounds of mens voices working on ships. Across the way she could see the Jade Sabre, her Aunt's pride and joy. The only one whoever flew it was Mara. Reika opened her eyes and saw Mara holding Ben and smiling softly at her son. The look of joy and sadness appeared in her emerald eyes, "Mara..." Luke placed his hand on his wives shoulder. Mara sighed and handed Ben to Mariax, "Take care of him." She stated kissing her son's forehead. Reika looked away, the sight of parental love made her stomach churn.

The two ackalay let out huge roars, and started toward the yuzzhan vong, who had awakened them, however Lujtu was content on watching the fun. As the yuzzhan vong fought they brought down one of the huge beasts, but had suffered in numbers, the were to few to take the other one down. After taking out the rest of the vong, the ackalay let out a blood churning cry, and as it lifted it's head to let it out, it noticed a small figure in the tree beside it, it turned for a bite, but Lutju turned and tried to use a power his Master streen had taught him, Beast trick.

Lutju used this technique to calm the ackalay, "shhh, your a beauty, i'm not food, it's ok," whispered Lutju. As he spoke the words he felt the beast relax, and start to calm down," I don't want to hurt you." The ackalay came in for a closer look and sniffed the jeid, who enforced the Beast trick until he was on the back of the ackalay. He projected a vision of water to the mighty beast of which he was riding, and it head off south through the jungle. As Lutju neared a wall of rock, which looked like it had just caved in, he stopped, or rather the Ackalay did, smelling blood. Lutju paused for a moment and opened himself through the force reaching out....

As Ven awoke in the dark cave he felt the presence of a jedi and as soon as he was going to force whisper to this jedi, he felt an odd presence further in the cave he moved slowly and cautiously as he moved towards the odd Presence he found a hole and when he looked into it he saw a great number of Kinrath, they looked like giant insects with an appendage jutting out of it's face, they were pale green with odd purple stripes all over their bodies. the closest Kinrath sensed his body heat and attacked Ven jumped into the air and let out a burst of force power and knocked all the kinrath away, Ven grabbed his Guard shoto's and started to cut down the beast's so he could get in the cave, something was calling him in the cave, thoigh it did not seem ominous it felt familiar. As the last of the Kinrath fell he stepped inside the cave only to stumble upon a crystal cave. Ven moved closer to the familiar presence and stopped in front of a crystal he bent down and grabbed it. The crystal almost felt like it was vibrating in his hand as though this was his all along no one else. Ven sat and took out some tools to make the crystal fit in his light saber and when he was done he place it in his light saber as well as an Opila crystal he found amongst other crystals such as jenruax, Rubat, and colored crystals. As ven stored the Opila, Jenraux, and Rubat crystals in his lightsaber he Went to try and Force whisper with the jedi...

Lutju turned and felt a presence calling to him from behind the rocks, so he turned and used the force to move the rocks away from the entrance, and when the dust cleared all he saw were two beings, both looked like they'd been through hell and back. Lutju turned to the acakaly and through the force he planted an image in the beasts mind, to go and find a place to rest far away. The beast bellowed once and took off in the other direction, leaving Lujtu with the other two inside the cave. He waited for the others to speak....

"They only sent one jedi? they must be on mon calamari. wonder how they are fairing. Ven spoke in twi'lekki, then smiled at lutju and greeted him. Ven then showed Lutju to the crystal caves. As they entered Ven felt the immense dark side aura of the giant terentatek and ushered him to find what he needs and get ready.
Then out of no where a party of vong waltzed right into the cave howling and charging Ven dashed forward grabbed his guard shoto's parried, blocked and sliced through vong letting lutju grab crystals so they could get out of this rank cave. Once the vong were eliminated he took a second to realize he never saw any felucians since he has been here and was wondering why that was when Lutju patted his shoulder telling him they were done.

"I'm finished," lutju said, as they turned Lutju stopped. "Listen..." As they stood in th ecave he could hear a chewing/ crunching sound, "Gruchins!', Lutju yelled." The vong are trying to bring the cave down!" As they jedi sped out of the cave they saw more vong, hundreds in fact...

They flew ou tof th emouth of the cave and as they ran by the rock rubble, they used the force to plow there way out, knocking vong out of the way, crushing, and killimg as many as they could. They kept on through the the lush fauna, and knew the vong would be close behind them, so they tried to set the pace a little harder, but soon realized that they didn't have anywhere to go, and also that the vong on them wouldn't give up until the jedi were captured, or killed.

Finally coming to a stream, the jedi and hoth took a drink, found highground, force lept to it, and stopped to rest, since they had a clear view in all directions. As they rested Lutju turned and looked north east, and his breath was taken away, he saw a gathering of coralskippers berthed to what might have been a berthing ship for coral-skippers, approximately-150/200 coral skippers sat berthed... until the jedi saw a dozen rise and fly straight toward their position....

Reika flew off in her jet off of the planet, being followed by Luke and Mara. Reika had the feeling that this would be a tough mission. As she lifted in to space the stars surronding her. Reika sighed taking a deep breath. She could feel the force surronding her and the feeling of hope and love of her family was all around her, "Blue Phoenix to Farmboy what is your status?" Reika said over her comlink. Luke smiled hearing his neice's eagerness to get to Mon Cal, "Blue Phoenix, I estimate that our ETA will be 2 hours. Take your time and calm yourself." Reika sighed knowing that Luke was right but she couldn't help but worry about it. She wanted to protect all of her loved ones from harm. She didn't want to lose anyone like she had lost her parents and sister.

Mara smiled knowing that this young woman reminded her a lot of herself. Luke you knokw she is gonna want to storm into this head first. Luke nodded knowing that his neice would do what was necessary to rescue Han and Leia.

Reika flew on and on knowing that her adoptive parents needed her and she didn't care what happened. She would do what she had to to rescue them, " Blue Phoenix, calm yourself. We will get there soon." Mara stated senseing the anger in her neice, "I'm trying to Emerald Jade." She stated slowing down the speed of her xwing.

They stood the mouths open, thier brains trying register what was about to happen, then Lutju snapped out of his trance and yelled," I'll try to lead them away, take care of the vong." and with that Lutju jumped down the other side of the hilltop, and ran straight toward the vong ships, trying to make a plan as he went. Through the enormus trees he ran and started to jump from leaf too leaf until he was on top of a mushroom, where he waited for one of the ships to pass over him.

Lutju layed on his back, head tilted forward, just enough to see the ships closing in and started counting... 3...2...1... now, he ignited his lightsaber stuck it straight straight in the air, slicing the length of th eships as it passed, less that a meter above the mushroom on which he lay, and that coral skipper went down, though Lujtu had rolled off of the mushroom and on too the leaf of the tree beside him, he heard the crash.

That's one he thought, but there were 11 at least left, and they knew where his location was. He knew he'd have to find another way. As the coral skippers lauched plasma into the forest hoping to kill whatever had taken down thir comrad, one blast hit close to Lujtu burning his left shoulder abd blistering the skin instantly, trying to stifle his cry of pain, he ran on toward the clearing where he had seen the the ships berthed....

As day flew into night Lutju could just make out the lambents, which the vuuzhan vong used for lights, and he decided to take a break and consider what his next move was. The Jedi went in search of a place to lay and rest, and check out his injury, which had been irritating him all day. As he walked in the night of Felucia, Lujtu used the force for more awarness, as he didn't want to risk a light, not knowing if he woul drun into more hunting parties, or attract the patrolling ships that passed above him every hour or so.

A few hours passed and Lutju had walked at the edge of th eclearing, just inside so as not to be seen and finally picked a spot, under and enormous log, once a tree, which had fallen some time ago. Lutju spent the next few moments making sure he wasn't be followed, and used the force to moove a few branches, bark, and leaves around to block anyone from seeing where Lutju's camp was, and also made sure he had another way out should he have the need to leave quickly. Lutju entered a healing trance, and the pain of his wound went down, and although he could not see it, he knew he would live, however, it would scar. Lutju layed on the forest ground feeling out with the force, lisenting to the creatures, and for anything that might be a threat but soon fell into a light sleep after thinking of his next move, which was going into the compound, and seeing what the vong were up too.

Lutju only hoped Ven' olan and hoth had faired better.....
